Balas Rose - Eau de parfum de niche mixte (red bottle 150 ml) - Ibrahim Al Qurashi (IBRAQ)

Balas Rose: Ibraheem AlQurashi's royal, spicy oriental rose

Balas Rose is much more than a fragrance - it's a declaration of olfactory royalty, a tribute to the noblest and most precious rose in oriental perfumery. A royal palace bathed in incense, where saffron gilds the air with an intense spicy light, raspberry brings a fruity-red vivacity as brilliant as ruby, and rose bursts forth in its deepest, most opulent splendor. This unisex Oriental Floral embodies olfactory royalty - spicy, floral, leathery, fruity and undeniably precious.

Perfect for those who want to leave a royal, memorable olfactory impression, Balas Rose unfolds in three acts of remarkable intensity and opulence: the spicy-fruity-floral radiance of saffron, raspberry and rose in the opening, the velvety-oriental richness of vanilla, jasmine and suede in the heart, and the woody-musky depth of cedar, birch and musk in the base. A journey of 9 exceptional ingredients, from the spicy-ruby warmth of the opening to the woody-musky robustness of the base.

Signed by the Saudi House of Haute Parfumerie Ibraheem AlQurashi (Ibraq), one of the most admired and respected houses in international Arab perfumery, Balas Rose is a composition that celebrates the grandeur of the oriental rose - not the soft, pastel rose of Western florals, but the deep-red rose, spicy with saffron, velvety with suede, rooted in the royal tradition of age-old Arab perfumery. Rated 4.5 / 5 on Fragrantica (54 reviews - a remarkable and representative score that confirms the universal fascination with this flagship creation from the AlQurashi house since 2017).

Balas Rose is a 9-ingredient composition of impeccable oriental intensity and coherence, combining spicy-fruity warmth in the opening (saffron, raspberry, rose), velvety opulence in the heart (vanilla, jasmine, suede) and woody-musky depth in the base (cedar, birch, musk). an oriental-floral-wax symphony of magnificence and nobility worthy of the perfume of Arab royalty, rated 4.5/5 by the Fragrantica community since 2017.

Olfactory pyramid: 9 exceptional ingredients, a royal oriental-floral odyssey

Balas Rose unveils an oriental-floral olfactory architecture of remarkable precision and intensity - 9 ingredients selected by the House of Ibraheem AlQurashi and deployed in three acts like the rooms of an oriental palace, from the spicy-ruby antechamber to the woody-musky throne room:

🌅 Top notes - L'Éclat Épicé-Rubis de l'Ouverture :

• 🌼 Saffron - A royal spice-warm, slightly metallic-golden, the most precious and noble spice note in oriental perfumery-Balas Rose's saffron is not a shy spice: it asserts itself from the outset with a golden, regal presence that unambiguously confirms this creation's place in the great tradition of Arabian court perfumery, that of palaces and sultans.
• 🍓 Raspberry - red-juicy-slightly acidic-vibrant fruit, the brightest and most brilliant fruity note of the opening - its fruity-acidic red creates a fascinating contrast with the golden warmth of saffron, like ruby on gold, two preciousnesses that magnify each other in a fruity-spicy tension of striking originality.
• 🌹 Rose - queen flower-red-deep-slightly spicy-royal, present from the top to anchor the composition in its signature floral-royal dimension - the Balas Rose is not pink: it is red, deep, serious, spiced by the saffron that crowns it in gold - it is the rose from the gardens of Taif, the noblest and most precious rose in the Middle East.

Heart notes

• 🍦 Vanilla - creamy-sweet oriental-warm and enveloping, the sweetest, most gourmand heart note - in Balas Rose, vanilla plays the role of the warmth that unites all the elements of the heart: it softens the power of jasmine, amplifies the velvety softness of suede and creates a sweet-oriental accord of remarkable warmth and sensual comfort.
• 🌼 Jasmine - white-opulent-lightly animalic-sensual-deep flower, the most intense and bewitching floral note of the heart - jasmine in Balas Rose is the jasmine of great oriental perfumery: opulent, carnal, present, it brings a white-sensual floral dimension that dialogues with the depth of suede to create the most seductive and memorable leathery-floral accord of the composition.
• 🦌 Suede - velvety-slightly leathery-warm-animal-soft, Balas Rose's most distinctive and sophisticated heart note - suede is the softest, most velvety leather in perfumery; in this heart, it creates with vanilla and jasmine a velvety-oriental accord of incomparable sensuality and richness, the leathery signature that sets Balas Rose apart from all the generalist floral-orientals on the market.

🌙 Base Notes - La Profondeur Boisée-Musquée Royale :

• 🌲 Cedar - dry-lightly resinous-fresh-elegant-robust wood, the most classic and noble wood frame in the background - it structures the background of a dry, haughty wood architecture that gives Balas Rose its robustness and long-lasting hold, the woody backbone on which the whole oriental edifice of the composition rests.
• 🌳 Birch - lightly smoky-woody-cresinous-lightly tarry-characteristic, the most distinctive and singular woody note in the base - birch adds a lightly leathery-woody-smoky dimension that reinforces the heart's suede accord with a descending woody-smoky resonance, creating a leathery-woody continuity from head to base of high perfumery coherence and sophistication
• 🤍 Musk - enveloping-lightly animal-warm-persistent note, the ultimate thread of Balas Rose - the musk in the base fixes and amplifies the entire composition, anchoring the trail in a musky warmth that prolongs the olfactory presence well beyond the lifespan of the more volatile notes, guaranteeing the 7 hours of longevity and the strong trail that characterize this creation.

Bottle & case: cut ruby crowned with gold, with Arabic calligraphy

The bottle of Balas Rose belongs to the same iconic aesthetic family as Pink Diamond Sakura by Ibraheem AlQurashi - the same visual DNA of the diamond-cut bottle - but in a chromatic register of absolute depth and royalty, evoking the brilliance of a red ruby in an oriental jewelry set.

Visit bottle the same rectangular silhouette adorned with diamond-cut geometric facets and diamonds carved into the glass itself - iconic visual signature of the AlQurashi house - but in a deep, translucent ruby-red glass of spectacular intensity and preciousness. The deep carmine red that illuminates the faceted cut glass is the exact color of a royal ruby seen under the light of a palace chandelier: intense, precious, imperial.

Visit golden spherical cap - A perfectly polished champagne gold sphere, identical to Pink Diamond Sakura - crowns the ruby bottle with a regal, opulent presence. This contrast between the deep red of the glass and the luminous gold of the cap is one of the most powerful and luxurious colorimetric harmonies in contemporary Arabic perfumery. L’bilingual rectangular gold label - Balas Rose in Latin characters and بالاس روز in Arabic calligraphy - is the touch of oriental authenticity that distinguishes Balas Rose as a creation of high Arab perfumery in the full sense of the word.

This bottle is above all a collector's item - a faceted ruby that sits on a dressing table or chest of drawers like the centerpiece of a perfumed jewelry collection, as much an objet d'art as a vehicle for one of AlQurashi's greatest oriental fragrances.
