Khadlaj Black Oud is one of those rare fragrances that divide opinions in the perfume world. Indeed, this daring composition dares to introduce raspberry in a fragrance based onoud. This creates an olfactory tension that few perfumers dare to attempt. The result is as intriguing as it is fascinating. It also challenges our preconceived ideas about oriental perfumery traditional.
Oud Noir Khadlaj: oud meets raspberry
Start a oud fragrance with raspberry is a creative challenge. This entry completely destabilizes expectations and creates a contrast with the spices and the saffron that go with it. There's nothing childish about this raspberry. Its purpose is to bring an acidity that awakens the senses.
Oud Noir Khadlaj: a heart note true to its origins!
L'incense and the cypriol bring the composition back into line with oriental perfumery standards. The sparing use of rose avoids the trap of being too floral.
It simply softens the edges of this masculine fragrance and bring balance with the power of incense.
But it's in the base note that Oud Noir Khadlaj really comes into its own. The oud makes its appearance, supported by the patchouli. This database remains accessible to Western noses while preserving the authenticity of the oriental raw material.
Finally, theamber completes this architecture with a warmth that allows the whole scent to linger on the skin for a long time. This final stage in the composition makes the trail persistent, and justifies the reputation for longevity of Khadlaj perfumes. The final result completely erases the initial raspberry to make way for the intense oud.
The scent of transition
Oud Noir Khadlaj is aimed at connoisseurs of oud perfumes who are looking for a fragrance that breaks away from convention. It is particularly suitable for those who want to discover this precious wood without immediately confronting its most confusing side.
This composition acts as a bridge between western perfumery and Eastern Europe.
