The Fragrantica community has rated it 4.5 out of 5 based on nearly 250 votes, with a longevity of about 8 hours and a sillage rated as “huge.” Available as an authentic product at Parfumerie de Dubai.
The Precision Attack
The name promises an offensive, but the pyramid delivers a surgical strike. The opening strikes with a vivid, vibrant green: a basil an aromatic herb crumpled between the fingers, a Haitian vetiver brightness that is already present from the very beginning, the Timur, this Nepalese berry—a cousin of Sichuan pepper—whose brightness is surprisingly reminiscent of grapefruit, and a freesia A poetic touch that slips a flower into the arsenal. Four simultaneous angles of attack: blade, root, berry, petal.
At its heart lies the true essence of the project: three exceptional molecules from the fragrance house Givaudan, named in full. The Akigala wood, a precious extract derived from patchouli, with surprising notes of peppery oud; the Georgywood, a powerful and velvety amber wood; the Petalia, a musky petal with the freshness of dew. It is this trio that explains the oud accord perceived by the community, even though no oud notes appear in the list of ingredients.
The background brings the sequence full circle with two defining elements: the Indonesian patchouli leaf, named with the precision of a wine vintage, and the’Ambrofix, the benchmark molecular amber, a long-lasting diffuser of modern scents. The result on the wrist: an aromatic woody scent of rare clarity, green on the surface, with oud notes at its core, that projects far and lasts a long time. The opening is clean: not a single note out of place, not a hint of blurriness in its trajectory.
In the Arrogate collection, Attacks focuses on the tactical aspect where Private Purple It fostered a sense of intimacy behind its mashrabiya: for one, the twilight hour and privacy; for the other, broad daylight and boldness. And its emerald-green bottle is a natural fit for our selection of Dubai perfumes in green bottles, the color of herbs with character.

Bottle design
The Arrogate cylinder is cast here into a deep emerald green, dark and glossy like a forest after the rain, topped by the brushed aluminum hood of the line. The dark glass keeps the juice a secret: only low-angle light reveals its transparency.
On the wall, a deliberate stylistic departure: "Attacks" is written in handwritten silver-colored script, almost like calligraphic graffiti, whereas the rest of the collection sticks to conservative capital letters. The gesture says it all: the same precision craftsmanship, but this one is here to shake things up. ARROGATE COLLECTION and ASSAF are a nod to the stable below.

Performance & sensations
The numbers speak for themselves: 4.5 out of 5 based on nearly 250 votes Fragrantica, one of the highest-rated fragrances in the Assaf catalog, with lasts about 8 hours and a classified wake enormous, the rarest category in the community barometer. The mechanism is straightforward: Ambrofix and Georgywood are among the most diffusive ingredients in the industry, and Indonesian patchouli anchors the whole composition throughout the day.
Such weapons should be used with discretion: No more than two sprays Indoors, at the office, or while commuting, where its sillage literally fills the room; the third is reserved for the great outdoors and evening gatherings. Its balanced, woody-green character makes it wearable day and night, in all seasons: the aromatic notes dominate on warm days, while the oud-infused heart takes center stage in the cold. Just one 150-ml bottle, and you’re all set.
Assaf's Attacks FAQ
Why are there molecule names in the Attacks pyramid?
Because Assaf is committed to transparency in the laboratory: Georgywood, Petalia, and Ambrofix are exceptional molecules from the fragrance house Givaudan—high-tech ingredients that perfumers vie for because of their purity and potency. Naming them explicitly, rather than hiding them behind poetic descriptions, sends a signal to connoisseurs: the fragrance pyramid reads here like a list of weapons, piece by piece.
What is Akigala wood, and where does the oud's sound come from?
This is the magic of perfume. Akigala Wood is a precious fraction extracted from patchouli using a cutting-edge enzymatic process, and its profile strikingly evokes peppery oud—its smoky nobility without its animalic quality. That is why the fragrance community identifies an oud accord as one of the dominant notes in Attacks, even though no oud note appears in the fragrance pyramid: the precious wood is there, in molecular form.
Does "Attacks" really have such a strong scent?
Yes, and this is confirmed by the Community Barometer: its sillage is rated “enormous”—a notch above “strong”—a distinction that very few perfumes achieve. In practical terms, two sprays are noticeable from across the room and leave a trail wherever you go. This is an asset for anyone who wants to make an olfactory statement, but it also comes with a responsibility in enclosed spaces: use sparingly at the office, but go all out outdoors and in the evening.
Why does "Attacks" have such high ratings?
With a rating of 4.5 out of 5 based on nearly 250 votes, it ranks among the highest-rated fragrances in the Assaf catalog, and the sample size is large enough for the score to be meaningful. The secret to its popularity lies in three key points: an original signature—that green oud note you won’t find anywhere else at this price point; top-notch performance, with 8 hours of wear and an enormous sillage; and a clean execution, without a single off-note.
Can you wear Attacks all year round?
This is one of its strongest selling points: the community credits it with being completely versatile—day and night, all year round. The logic lies in the fragrance pyramid: basil, timur, and vetiver sparkle on sunny days, while the woody, oud-infused heart notes and patchouli take over as soon as the first chill sets in. Simply adjust the amount—light in the summer, more generous in the winter—and the same bottle will last you all twelve months.
