Crystal-cut musk
Musk spends its life deep within the pyramids, supporting the others; *Divin Musc* brings it to the stage. First, the lighting: red berries tart notes that bring a touch of pink to the opening, a neroli bright, with the elegant bitterness of fresh orange blossom, and a mandarin Juicy. A clean, sparkling opening, as sharp as the crystals on the hood.
The heart unfurls the white bouquet: white flowers fleshy, a iris a touch of high-end elegance and a peony with an almost aquatic, dewy freshness. This is the heart note that the community perceives first—white, powdery flowers at the forefront of its accords—and it plays its role perfectly: enhancing the musk without ever masking it.
Because the star is waiting in the background: a musk clean, soft, and cozy—the perfect second skin—lined with a amber A subtle note that gives it its warmth. It lasts seven hours and has a strong sillage—a rarity in this category: the musk lingers until evening, and that aura of fine linen makes people want to come closer to ask what you’re wearing.
At French Avenue, Divin Musc plays the perfect counter-role to Chronicles : the hourglass evokes the amber hues of evening, while musk evokes the brightness of broad daylight. Day and night in the same house—literally.

Bottle design
The bottle has a understated, jewelry-like design: a cube of taupe-gray tinted glass, a cream-colored label with a black border bearing the words "DIVIN MUSC" in spaced-out capital letters, beneath a gold collar, and above all, this hood set with baguette crystals, cut like a cocktail ring, which catches the light from every angle.
The case turns the values upside down by off-white and gold, a medallion featuring hot-gilded arabesques and the “FRENCH AVENUE” seal stamped at the bottom. The design faithfully reflects the fragrance itself: purity, preciousness, light—musk encased in crystal.

French Avenue's Divin Musc FAQ
What does “Divin Musc” mean?
Quite simply, a perfumer’s superlative: musk in its most refined, most meticulously crafted form—the kind you display in a showcase rather than hide at the bottom of a formula. The bottle with its crystal cap and the case with its golden medallion both convey the same message: here, the most humble ingredient in perfumery is treated like a piece of jewelry.
Isn't musk just a base note?
This is its typical use, not its limitation: in both Eastern tradition and contemporary niche perfumery, musk as a solo note is a genre in its own right, beloved for its second-skin comfort and its impeccable purity. Divin Musc follows in this tradition: the entire fragrance profile—fruits, flowers, and iris—works to highlight the musk rather than replace it. You don’t wear a fragrance that contains musk; you wear musk itself, beautifully showcased.
What is neroli, and how does it differ from orange blossom?
One flower, two faces: neroli is the essence obtained by distilling the flowers of the bitter orange tree—greener, fresher, and slightly bitter—while orange blossom absolute, extracted using solvents, is more honeyed and sensual. In Divin Musc, neroli takes center stage: its crisp, refined cologne-like quality gives the opening a luxurious, soapy character, perfect for introducing a clean musk.
What role does the peony play in perfumery?
A charming paradox: the peony does not yield any usable essential oil, so its scent is always an artist’s interpretation—a portrait of the flower rather than the flower itself. Perfumers depict it as fresh, dewy, slightly green, and aquatic—somewhere between a light rose and the poetry of morning. Here, it breathes life into the white bouquet and prevents the powdery iris from veering into the realm of makeup: it is the open window to the heart.
