Rather than playing the intensity card right from the opening, the fragrance Sensuos Night Khadlaj prefers the strategy of decoy to better reveal its true nature as the hours go by. Focus on a fragrance that's sure to surprise you!
Sensuos Night: khadlaj likes to play with contrasts
This fragrance plays with paradoxes in the most beautiful of ways. Right from the start, it manages to deceive its audience, with a cheerful, fruity top note that hints at nothing of its true nature. Lemon, pineapple and green apple create that first impression of youthful freshness that completely masks what's to come.
This deliberately misleading introduction works like an olfactory trap. You expect a fruity fragrance Then, the composition shifts to something so different. This strategy of seduction reveals Khadlaj's mastery of the art of surprise.
Sensuos Night: the turn towards the unexpected
The heart note of this fragrance abandons the fruity register to plunge into a floral universe. Rose and jasmine might have been enough to create a classic bouquet, but the addition of blackcurrant changes everything. Indeed, this note adds a dark touch that transforms the floral side into something far more unsettling.
Violet completes this quartet to soften it. It gives Sensuos Night its soft, enveloping character. The transition from fruity to floral is seamless, proof of an invention thought out down to the smallest detail.
Finally, this composition features the cedar wood and the patchouli. This base note contrasts totally with the lightness of the opening. It also justifies the perfume's «sensual» name. For even more sensuality, try Cashmere Sunshine Musk.
L'amber and the vanilla finish off the job with the oriental warmth that was missing until now. The final result has nothing to do with the fruit of the beginning, and that's the art of this composition.
An assertive chameleon fragrance
This radical evolution makes Sensuos Night a highly adaptable fragrance. It starts light enough for daytime and finishes rich enough for evening. This versatility makes it a practical choice for those who don't want to multiply bottles. After all, it's a feminine fragrance !
