Hersh Zero Degrees Celsius
Unisex woody-spicy oud eau de parfum · passion fruit, citrus notes, rose, spices, oud, incense, leather, and amber
Frozen Oud: an icy opening of juicy fruits and citrus, followed by a smoky finish of oud, leather, and incense. The contrast defines the fragrance—at exactly 0°C.
The Freezing Point of Oud: A Fragrance Built on Contrast
It took some nerve to name an oud «Zero Degree Celsius.» The Hersh line from Al Ezz Oud, a niche brand Saudi who has made boldness his trademark has done just that, and the concept lives up to its promise: a frozen oud, seized by the cold before bursting into flames. The opening is the icy part of the contract: a passion fruit juicy and exotic, infused with’citrus notes Sparkling—a fresh, sweet-and-tart, energetic burst that stings like the air on a winter morning.
Then the temperature rises: the heart blends a rose flexible and elegant, with hot spices that crackle softly, the transition where the gel begins to melt. This is the fragrance’s most refined moment—that spicy rose that bridges the two worlds.
And finally, the fire: a background of oud deeply smoked,’incense mysterious, of leather elegant and’amber glowing, the embers beneath the ice, described by the restaurant as a powerful projection and a long-lasting. From the first icy second to the last steamy hour, Zero Degree Celsius unfolds the most spectacular cool-to-dark transition in the Hersh line: a statement fragrance, tailored for evenings and the colder seasons.
In the Hersh locker room, -0° is the striking contrast, opposite Hersh Al Jalabiya, a traditional Eastern style full of warm, rounded curves: ice and embers on one side, fabric and hospitality on the other.

Bottle design
The bottle showcases the concept: a block of glacier turquoise glass, dense and faceted like a carved piece of pack ice, with the name HERSH engraved in relief above the monogram «-0°» stamped in gold and the "Zero Degree Celsius" label. The collar wraps around a frosted turquoise string Matching the juice, with the crown charm from the collection.
At the top, the faceted gold cap The diamond-cut design provides a warm counterpoint—gold on ice—just like amber against the citrus notes of the juice. In the Hersh collection, it is the most striking bottle after Al Asof’s white crown: a glacier resting on a shelf, setting the tone—or rather, the temperature—even before the first spritz.

Performance & sensations
"Zero Degree Celsius" is billed by the company as a powerful projection and a long-lasting, and its formula delivers on that promise: oud, leather, incense, and amber form the most tenacious quartet of fixatives in Oriental perfumery, and the Hersh line features concentrations designed to last in the Gulf’s heat. The fragrance unfolds like a temperature curve: the icy opening bursts forth strongly in the first hour, the spicy rose takes center stage in the evening, and then the smoldering oud settles in for many long hours, permeating jackets and coats well beyond the night.
It’s a fragrance that makes a statement—the kind you wear to make an impression at a party, on a night out, or when you walk into a room—and the cool, cold seasons provide the perfect setting: the actual cold amplifies the contrast that the fragrance evokes. Two sprays are more than enough; it’s a -0° that warms you up quickly.
FAQ: Hersh Zero Degree Celsius by Al Ezz Oud
What does Al Ezz Oud's Hersh Zero Degree Celsius perfume smell like?
Hersh Zero Degree Celsius exudes contrast: an icy opening of juicy passion fruit and sparkling citrus, a heart of spicy rose that gradually warms, followed by a smoldering finish where oud, incense, leather, and amber smolder. From exotic sorbet to an oriental campfire in just a few hours: that’s the whole concept behind “frozen oud.”.
Why is the perfume called Zero Degree Celsius?
Because it is built around the freezing point: the “-0°” engraved on the bottle marks the exact moment when the icy cold gives way to fire. The frosted top represents ice, the smoky oud base represents embers, and the fragrance embodies this transition on the skin, hour after hour. The glacier-turquoise bottle with its gold cap captures the essence in a single glance: gold on ice.
Is Hersh Zero Degree Celsius a fresh or warm fragrance?
Both—and that’s precisely what makes it so brilliant: fresh and sparkling at first, thanks to passion fruit and citrus, it then evolves into a decidedly warm, smoky, leathery, and amber-scented oud. If you’re still torn between a fresh scent and an oriental one, Zero Degree Celsius settles the debate: it does both—in that order.
How does passion fruit work in an oud perfume?
It’s a rare and spectacular pairing: passion fruit brings an exotic, tangy, and sunny juiciness that’s the polar opposite of dark, smoky oud—and it’s precisely this stark contrast that makes Zero Degree Celsius so memorable. Where most oud fragrances open with saffron or rose, this one opens with a tropical fruit—a guaranteed surprise.
Does Hersh Zero Degree Celsius project a lot?
Yes: the fragrance promises a powerful projection and long-lasting wear, and the base notes of oud, leather, incense, and amber—the most enduring quartet in oriental perfumery—deliver on that promise, lingering on clothing well beyond the evening. It’s a statement fragrance, to be worn with elegance: two sprays are enough to make your mark in a room, especially indoors.
