Parisian chic in a tobacco-colored version: understated, modern, magnetic
Mamlakat Al Oud’s Parisian Tobacco holds a promise in its name: that of understated luxury, imbued with modernity, where tobacco is worn like a well-tailored trench coat. The opening sets the tone with a vivid trio of citrus notes: the’blood orange, deeper and more vinous than a classic orange, the green apple crunchy and tangy, and the mandarin which rounds it out. A refreshing and elegant opening that grabs your attention without being overpowering.
The heart then unveils the centerpiece: a French tobacco elegant, neither cloying nor sweet, crafted like a beautifully made golden leaf, which the ginger electrifies with its tangy freshness, and the cinnamon warms up gradually. The neroli A very Parisian floral brightness slips into this composition—that subtle, refined eau de cologne note that keeps the tobacco from becoming too dark. The balance between freshness and spice is the fragrance’s true signature.
The background finally adds depth: the guaiac wood smoky and with a hint of honey, the’incense which trails behind it a veil that is almost mineral, the’iris who applies powder with finesse, and a lemongrass An unexpected fragrance that retains a hint of freshness right up until the very end. A sophisticated composition, designed for those who prefer a unique presence over ostentation: you notice the person before you notice the fragrance—and that’s exactly the point.
Parisian Tobacco is part of Mamlakat Al Oud's Tobacco Essence collection, where it forms a dynamic duo with Rio Tobacco, its sunny and fruity counterpart: Rio for a getaway, Parisian for urban elegance.

Bottle design
Parisian Tobacco draws on the signature silhouette of the Tobacco Essence collection, this high-end fluted glass column sleek, shown here in a champagne version: the clear glass reveals the pale golden juice, and the vertical stripes play with the light like the folds of a stage curtain.
The imposing fluted gold hood, placed on a engraved collar on behalf of Mamlakat Al Oud, and the gold-plated plate The front label, featuring Arabic calligraphy and the fragrance’s name, rounds out this monochromatic gold-and-champagne design. Whereas Rio Tobacco showcased its vibrant blue, Parisian opts for a luxurious tone-on-tone look: two brothers, two distinct personalities, immediately recognizable side by side.

Performance & sensations
Parisian Tobacco evolves with the same elegance it exudes: the citrusy opening sparkles during the first hour, then the spicy tobacco gently settles in and becomes the beating heart of the fragrance for most of the day. The base notes of guaiac wood, incense, and iris then prolong the signature scent close to the skin, with those subtle smoky notes that make a fragrance one you’ll want to wear again and again. Since tobacco and guaiac wood cling particularly well to fabrics, the scent lingers distinctly on clothing.
It’s a luxury fragrance that’s understated by design: its scent is noticeable yet refined, making it perfectly suitable for the office and indoor settings, where traditional tobacco scents can become overpowering. It’s a perfect fit for fall and winter, but its citrus and lemongrass notes make it wearable even on warm days. Two to three sprays are enough.
FAQ: Parisian Tobacco by Mamlakat Al Oud
What is the difference between Parisian Tobacco and Rio Tobacco from Mamlakat Al Oud?
Both are part of the Tobacco Essence collection, but each evokes a different city: Rio Tobacco is a sunny, fruity tobacco scent, with notes of lychee and apricot, designed to transport you to another world; Parisian Tobacco is an urban, sophisticated tobacco scent—with blood orange, ginger, cinnamon, and incense—designed for everyday elegance. Rio for vacations, Parisian for the trench coat: two perfectly complementary moods.
Is Parisian Tobacco a strong or sweet tobacco?
Neither one nor the other: that’s precisely what sets it apart. Parisian Tobacco’s French tobacco isn’t drowned in honey or vanilla like in classic gourmet tobaccos; it’s enlivened by ginger, citrus, and lemongrass, which maintain a thread of freshness from start to finish. The result is warm yet light, rich yet never overpowering.
Is Parisian Tobacco suitable for both women and men?
Yes, it’s a truly unisex fragrance: its bright citrus notes, neroli, and iris appeal to women just as much as its tobacco and guaiac notes appeal to men. Parisian Tobacco is one of those timeless fragrances that take on the personality of the skin that wears them—ideal for sharing or giving as a gift, knowing you can’t go wrong.
What's the best season to wear Parisian Tobacco?
Fall, winter, and the transitional seasons are its natural habitat: the cold lends a velvety quality to its spicy tobacco and incense. But thanks to its citrusy opening and lemongrass notes, Parisian Tobacco remains perfectly wearable on sunny days when worn sparingly—a rarity for a fragrance in this family.
