Risk Comet
A floral, fruity, gourmand eau de parfum for men and women · pear, rose, lily of the valley, coconut, sandalwood, and musk
The fruity comet from the Arrogate collection: a sparkling pear top note, a milky, rosy coconut heart, and eight hours of luminous sillage. The gourmand creation that gives the bottle its name.
Assaf's Risk Comète: What You Need to Know About This Fruity, Gourmand Fragrance
New for 2026 from the Arrogate collection by Assaf, the Saudi niche fragrance house ranked first in its country in the Beautyworld rankings, Risk Comète is a 150-ml unisex gourmand floral-fruity eau de parfum, listed under barcode 6287042405206. Its streamlined fragrance profile opens with a note of pear, unfolds into a heart of rose, lily of the valley, and coconut, and settles on a base of sandalwood and musk. The Fragrantica community rates its longevity at approximately 8 hours and its sillage as strong; it is suitable for both day and evening wear, year-round. Available as an authentic product at Parfumerie de Dubai.
The Course of the Bet
A comet consists of a bright head and a never-ending tail: the pyramid follows this pattern to the letter. At the top is a single note—and it’s a masterful choice: the pear, juicy and pearlescent—this fruit, which modern perfumery has made its signature ingredient to open compositions with an immediate, sweet, yet light radiance. The comet’s nucleus, alone in the sky.
Then comes the challenge that justifies the name: combining the rose, queen of flowers, and the lily of the valley, green and pink bell, at a coconut Milky and creamy. On paper, the flower and the cream aren’t in the same league; on the skin, the coconut becomes a milk of petals, a rounded quality that envelops the bouquet without ever taking it to the beach. That’s the calculated risk of the title: a gourmand floral that could have veered into sunscreen territory, but is kept firmly on the elegant side.
Finally, drag: sandalwood creamy and musk Soft, two base notes that prolong the radiance of the pear-coconut duo for hours. Six notes in all, embodying the minimalism that has become the hallmark of the Arrogate collection: few elements, sharp contrasts, and a strong sillage that trails behind you like a comet’s tail for eight hours.
In the Arrogate stable, Risk Comète takes the Milky Way between the tactical green of’Attacks and the chypre-scented bath of Swimming in the Intense Summer Heat : one with a wood-grain finish, another with a dramatic dip, and this one with a smooth, straight grain. Three styles, all from the same Saudi workshop.

Bottle design
The Arrogate cylinder features a deep carmine red, dark and glossy like a black cherry, topped with the brushed aluminum hood of the line. And just like in *Attacks*, typography is undergoing a revolution: Risk is written in silver cursive script, scrawled on the glass like a signature in marker, above the word COMÈTE in neat capital letters.
ARROGATE COLLECTION and ASSAF evoke the stable below. The color code is crystal clear throughout the lineup: emerald green for the aromatic attack, carmine red for bold sweetness. Same body style, two distinct personalities: the collection now reads like a color chart.

Performance & sensations
The comet lives up to its promise of a trail: the Fragrantica community discusses lasts about 8 hours and a strong wake, a first-rate performance for a rich, fruity fragrance. The composition is classic and effective: sandalwood and musk, two creamy base notes, hold the pear-coconut duo in place long after the brilliance of the opening has subsided, leaving a soft yet distinct aura.
It's a scent of’complete schedule : Day and night are almost equally represented; four seasons with no weak points—the sparkling pear during the day and the milky coconut taking over at night. Two sprays are enough, as its sillage is generous; and the large 150-ml size allows for daily use without counting drops—the primary purpose of these Gulf-made bottles.
Assaf's Comète Risk FAQ
What does the name "Risk Comète" mean?
Two words, two promises. Risk is an olfactory gamble: daring to blend a milky coconut into a bouquet of rose and lily of the valley—a combination that few fragrance houses attempt outside of beach-inspired scents. Comète is the trajectory: a brilliant top note—the solitary pear of the opening—followed by an eight-hour luminous trail of sandalwood and musk. The name literally describes the pyramid’s structure.
Does the coconut give Risk Comète a beachy vibe?
No, and that’s the art of balance. The coconut in sunscreens is toasted, vanilla-scented, and overpowering; the coconut in Risk Comète is milky, closer to fresh milk than to monoi, blended with rose and lily of the valley until it becomes a texture rather than a note. You sense a creamy roundness that envelops the flowers—not a beach chair. Lovers of elegant, indulgent scents will find this much more to their liking than those nostalgic for the beach.
Why is lily of the valley considered a perfume note?
Because a real flower cannot be picked: lily of the valley yields no essence that can be extracted, and so every lily of the valley note in perfumery is a reconstruction—a portrait of the little bell painted from memory by the perfumer. It is one of the most technically challenging notes in the craft. In Risk Comète, it plays its classic role to perfection: its green, dewy freshness breathes life into the rose-coconut duo and prevents the gourmand notes from veering into dessert-like creaminess.
Who should you give Risk Comète to?
It’s one of the safest gifts in the Assaf catalog: with its unisex design, it’s perfect for both him and her; its rich, fruity scent appeals to a wide audience without being ordinary; and its large 150-ml size makes it a generous gift. Keep this in mind for those with a sweet tooth who’ve already tried all the classic vanilla scents: the pear-coconut-rose blend will offer a refreshing change of pace without being too overwhelming. And the crimson bottle makes quite an impression when unwrapped.
How long does Risk Comète last on the skin?
About 8 hours, according to feedback from the Fragrantica community, with a sillage rated as strong: two sprays will last the entire workday, plus the evening if you spray in the late afternoon. The sandalwood-musk base dries down to a powdery sillage close to the skin in the final hours: the scent fades gently, but it fades far away. On clothing, expect it to last even longer.
