Sweet Peach
A fruity, floral, gourmand perfume extract for men and women · peach, red apple, bergamot, nectarine, freesia, frangipani, jasmine, rose, vanilla, musk, praline, amber, oak moss, tonka bean, and patchouli
Two stone fruits on top, a floral bouquet in the heart, followed by a gourmand base note underpinned by oak moss and patchouli: peach without the sweetness.
"Sweet Peach" by Loui Martin: Fifteen Notes of Peach with Oak Mousse
Created by Loui Martin, Sweet Peach is a unisex perfume extract available in a 100 ml spray bottle (3.4 fl. oz.), manufactured in the United Arab Emirates, as indicated by the “Made in U.A.E.” label on the packaging, and identified by barcode 6295255269652. Its fragrance profile features fifteen notes: peach, red apple, and bergamot on top; nectarine, freesia, frangipani, jasmine, and rose in the heart; and vanilla, musk, praline, amber, oakmoss, tonka bean, and patchouli on the base. The packaging indicates a shelf life of 36 months after opening, a CE mark, ISO 22716 and GMP-certified manufacturing, and that sales are restricted to authorized distributors. The perfumer has not been disclosed, and there are no community ratings for this fragrance. Available as an authentic product at Parfumerie de Dubai.
Two stone fruits instead of one
Most fruity fragrances feature one fruit and pair it with citrus notes. Sweet Peach features two, and they belong to the same family: the fishing at the top, the nectarine at the heart. This “duplicate” is not really a duplicate. The nectarine is tangier and crisper, while the peach is velvety and creamier: by layering them on two levels, the composition allows the fruit to linger well beyond the first few minutes—where an isolated fruity note would quickly fade. The red apple and the bergamot round out the opening—one crisp, the other bitter.
The heart note is a true bouquet, and that's what keeps the fragrance from being just a simple fruity scent. The freesia adds a hint of green and pepper, the jasmine and the rose the typical flower density, and the frangipani A sunny, almost milky roundness that blends with the peach’s velvety texture. Four flowers to one fruit: the proportion suggests that the creator intended a fruity floral scent, rather than a fruity scent adorned with flowers.
The bottom is the most crowded, with seven subjects, and it's more interesting than its "gourmet" label would suggest. The vanillathe praliné, l'amber and the tonka bean do indeed bring out the notes of sugar and toasted almond. But the oak moss and the patchouli point in the exact opposite direction: damp earth, undergrowth, green bitterness. It’s a chypre structure layered beneath a gourmand base, and it’s what gives the fragrance its longevity.
From the same publisher, Plush Pear Plush Pear comes in the same format—a 100-ml perfume extract. The two are similar on paper but differ in reality: Plush Pear finishes with a creamy base of vanilla, sandalwood, and cashmere wood, without any green notes, while Sweet Peach layers oak moss and patchouli beneath its sweetness. The former remains soft from start to finish, while the latter darkens as it fades.

Olfactory pyramid
Fifteen notes, divided into three top notes, five middle notes, and seven base notes. A note on the source: Loui Martin does not publish this fragrance pyramid in its own catalog, which lists the product by its fruit name alone. We’ve taken this information from a distribution sheet bearing the same barcode as our bottle, which guarantees that this is indeed the same product.
Fish in Perfumery
Peach is one of the oldest fruity notes in modern perfumery, appearing as early as the 1920s in compositions that have remained famous—often, in fact, alongside oak moss. This pairing, which can be found in the base notes of Sweet Peach, is therefore by no means a coincidence: it is one of the classic accords of the fruity chypre family.
Bottle and Packaging Design
The bottle is a glass pebble with very rounded edges, lacquered in a matte orange which matches the color of the case exactly. It fits in your hand like a bar of soap, with no sharp edges or facets. The name is written in gold letters: “SWEET” in spaced-out capital letters and “Peach” in handwritten script just below, followed further down by the logo and the words “PERFUME EXTRACT.”.
Visit plug is the only shiny part: a solid golden block with a stepped shoulder and a finely chiseled surface, which stands out sharply against the matte finish of the body. The contrast between orange and gold defines the entire visual identity, without any labels or added decoration.
L'case uses the same orange and places a photograph of peaches rather than an illustration: a whole fruit with its leaf, a half showing the pit, and a wedge. Full-length, the Loui Martin logo, a gold-colored clasp sits above the labels “perfume extract,” “natural spray,” “spray bottle,” and “100 ml.” The back features the barcode, regulatory pictograms, and certification marks.

Sweet Peach FAQ by Loui Martin
Why are there two stone fruits in the same pyramid?
Peaches and nectarines come from the same tree, but their fragrance notes are not interchangeable. The peach is velvety, milky, almost creamy; the nectarine is crisper, more tart, and juicier. Placing them on two different layers—one in the top note and the other in the heart note—allows the fruit’s presence to linger, whereas an isolated fruity note would evaporate in a matter of minutes.
What does peach smell like in perfumery?
The peach is not extracted: there is no usable essential oil from the fruit. Its scent is recreated by the perfumer, primarily using lactones—molecules that convey the fruit’s velvety texture, skin, and a slightly milky note. The result is rounder and creamier than that of tart fruits, making it easy to pair with vanilla and white flowers, both of which are present here.
What is a lactone?
This is a family of molecules found naturally in stone fruits, milk, and coconut. In perfumery, they are used to evoke a sensation of rich creaminess and fruit peel, and they are what distinguish a peach from an apricot or a mango in a fragrance. Their widespread use characterizes an entire family of so-called “milky” fragrances.
What is “praliné” in perfumery?
Like peach, praline is a reconstructed accord rather than a raw ingredient. The perfumer blends ingredients that evoke caramelized almonds or hazelnuts, along with butter, cooked sugar, and a hint of toast. In Sweet Peach, he uses vanilla and tonka bean to establish the gourmand note in the base.
What does oak moss add to a gourmand fragrance?
A counterbalance. Oak moss is a lichen that grows on tree trunks; its extract smells of damp earth, the forest floor, and bark, with a distinctive green bitterness. It is one of the foundational notes of the chypre family. Set against a base of vanilla and praline, it prevents the sweetness from dominating and adds depth where the composition might otherwise become flat.
What is frangipani?
It’s a tropical flower, the kind used to make necklaces in the Pacific. Its scent is pure and sunny, with a slightly milky richness and a hint of almond that brings it to mind of stone fruits. It’s probably this similarity that explains its presence at the heart of the blend, alongside the nectarine.
How does it differ from Plush Pear, which is from the same company?
The fruit, and above all, the base. Plush Pear begins with a green, juicy pear and ends on a creamy base of vanilla caviar, sandalwood, and cashmere wood, without any green or earthy notes. Sweet Peach opens with peach and red apple, and features oak moss and patchouli beneath its gourmand base. The former remains sweet from start to finish, while the latter darkens significantly. Both come in the same 100-ml perfume extract size and feature the same type of colored bottle with a gold cap.
Sweet Peach or Sweet Peachy: Which is the correct name?
The product we sell is labeled “Sweet Peach” on both the bottle and the packaging, and that is the spelling we use. The brand’s online catalog, however, uses “Sweet Peachy” for a product with the same volume and concentration. We’re not taking sides: if in doubt, the barcode 6295255269652 unambiguously identifies the bottle.
