Arrogate Girl by Assaf: A Floral-Fruity Fragrance in the Spotlight
Launched in 2024 by Assaf, the Saudi niche fragrance house ranked first in its country in the Beautyworld rankings, Arrogate Girl is a floral-fruity eau de parfum for women in a 200-ml large-format bottle, listed under barcode 6287042402540 and created by Hamid Merati-Kashani, a leading name in the global perfume industry. Its seventeen-note fragrance profile opens with mandarin, orange, peach, bergamot, and olibanum resin, blooms with orange blossom, jasmine, lily of the valley, gardenia, cypress, and caramel, and settles on musk, sandalwood, cedar, vanilla, Ambrox Super, and Haitian vetiver. The Fragrantica community reports approximately 6 hours of longevity with a moderate sillage, making it suitable as a daytime fragrance. Available as an authentic product at Parfumerie de Dubai.
The Sun of the Arrogate Stable
"Girl"—the word says it all: compared to the Arrogate collection and its bold confidence, this variation brings youthfulness and radiance. The opening is like a basket of citrus fruits bathed in sunlight: mandarin and orange juicy, bergamot sparkling, fishing creamy, and a surprise tucked away among the fruit, the frankincense resin, whose lemony, slightly smoky aroma lends the zest a depth reminiscent of a church bathed in sunlight. This is the first clue that you’re at Assaf’s: even freshness has a hidden depth.
The heart unfurls a full bouquet of white flowers: orange blossom Solar as the leader, jasmine, lily of the valley and gardenia as an escort, a cypress a green note that adds a breath of fresh air to the overall composition, and the rich, indulgent touch that defines the fragrance: a caramel blended among the petals. Caramelized orange blossom—almost like candied orange blossom—is the central flavor: a fresh take on Middle Eastern pastries.
The score reveals the composer’s attention to detail, even in the labeling of the materials: Ambrox Super, the purest version of the Amber Star molecule, and Haitian vetiver, the brightest part of the root, alongside the muskfrom sandalwoodfrom cedar and vanilla. Naming the ingredients with such precision is a touch of vanity on the part of a perfumer confident in his sources: transparency as a mark of luxury.
This score bears the signature of Hamid Merati-Kashani, whose journey is chronicled on our dedicated page, which also showcases the designs available in the store. And on the women's side of the collection, Arrogate Girl forms a dynamic duo with Miss Arrogate : the bold chypre scent for days when you need to make decisions, and the floral citrus scent for days when you want to feel lighthearted. Two ways to feel confident.

Bottle design
The cylinder from the Arrogate collection takes on the colors of ripe apricots here: a orange frosted glass, as warm as a sunset, resting on a frosted base and topped with the brushed aluminum hood Common to the line. An almond-shaped engraving runs along the side, creating a subtle play of light within the material.
"ARROGATE GIRL" is written in spaced-out white capital letters, and "ASSAF" is embossed on the bottom of the bottle. With its 200 ml, the bottle has the generosity of a decanter filled with sunshine: it confidently embraces the large “Golfe” size, for a fragrance designed as part of your daily routine.

Performance & sensations
The profile is that of a daytime companion: the Fragrantica community describes it as lasts about 6 hours for a moderate wake, a fresh, clean aura that remains within the bubble of courtesy. It’s as much a matter of composition as it is of balance: citrus and white flowers express themselves with transparency, musk and Ambrox Super prolong the light close to the skin, and caramel surfaces without ever feeling cloying.
His playground is the daylight all year round : courtyards, offices, terraces, and promenades—with a special springtime glow from spring through late summer, when citrus fruits are at their most vibrant. Three sprays in the morning, a touch-up in the mid-afternoon if the day drags on: with 200 ml in the carafe, you can be generous without ever running out.
Assaf's Arrogate Girl FAQ
Which perfumer created Arrogate Girl?
Hamid Merati-Kashani, one of the most sought-after perfumers in contemporary perfumery, whose creations for major international brands rank among the biggest commercial successes of the past decade. His inclusion in the credits exemplifies Assaf’s strategy: to entrust each creation to a recognized leading perfumer and to credit him by name, just as the world of fine perfumery has always done for its great creators.
What is the difference between Arrogate Girl and Miss Arrogate?
Two expressions of femininity in a single collection. Miss Arrogate, created by Sophie Labbé, embodies a bold floral chypre: two roses over patchouli and vetiver, the confidence of decisive moments. Arrogate Girl embraces light: a cascade of citrus, a caramelized white floral bouquet, and clean musk—the smile of carefree days. The first is assertive, the second radiant: many will end up wanting both, depending on their morning mood.
What does olibanum resin do in a fruity fragrance?
Oliban, another name for frankincense, is a resin with a surprisingly lemony and peppery top note before it is smoked. Placed among the citrus notes, it acts as an extender: its resinous freshness prolongs the radiance of mandarin and bergamot well beyond their natural evaporation, while casting a light, almost sacred shadow beneath the fruits. It adds a subtle oriental touch to an otherwise very Mediterranean opening.
What are Ambrox Super and Haitian vetiver?
Ingredients named with the precision of a wine vintage. Ambrox Super is the purest grade of the modern amber molecule: clearer and more radiant, it radiates the fragrance’s light for hours. Haitian vetiver, meanwhile, represents the sunniest expression of the root, more floral and less smoky than its cousins. When a fragrance composition so clearly highlights its origins, it’s a sign of quality: the perfumer reveals his ingredients rather than hiding them.
Is Arrogate Girl a good choice for the summer?
This is one of the best in its category: its dominant citrus notes and moderate sillage make it an ideal companion for hot weather, when heavy, sweet fragrances fall short. A hint of caramel lingers in the background—never cloying—and the musky base dries cleanly on warm skin. Spray it on light clothing as well as your skin to prolong the citrus notes, and keep the full-size bottle within reach in your bag: in the summer, a midday touch-up suits it perfectly.
