Kayaan Brun
A gourmand oriental eau de parfum for men and women · bergamot, cinnamon, cardamom, orange blossom, vanilla, elemi, praline, musk, guaiac wood, tonka bean, and almond
The collection’s speakeasy: a spice-scented password at the entrance, a vanilla-scented room softly lit by elemi, and a guaiac wood bar where praline and almond are served until the wee hours of the night. Come on in—it’s hidden away.
The Olfactory Speakeasy: Spices at the Entrance, Sweets at the Counter
Its distributors paint a picture of perfection: Imagine a hidden bar, a speakeasy where the air is thick with spices and sweetness. The password is whispered as soon as it opens: a bergamot elegant, a cinnamon hot, a cardamom green and one orange blossom Solar, the vibrant quartet that awakens the senses and sets the library in motion.
Inside, the cozy room: a vanilla rich and creamy, illuminated by an unexpected glow, the’elemi, this fresh resin with notes of peppery lemon and light incense, which here serves the same purpose as the golden sconces: it prevents the alluring twilight from turning into darkness. It is this elegant and mysterious heart that has earned Brun its nickname among connoisseurs: “the enigma of the collection.”.
Finally, the counter serves up homemade treats: a praliné hazelnut-flavored, one almond gentle, a tonka bean warm, on a guaiac wood smoky and creamy, like something from a mahogany bar, and a musk which smooths out the wake, as described by its distributors enveloping, addictive, and sophisticated. A sophisticated oriental fragrance that, in their words, invites pleasure and indulgence.
In the Kayaan collection, "Brun" is the fourth character: after the lagoon, the glacier, and the hug from Kayaan Caramel, here's the hidden bar for special occasions. And its fawn-colored hue fits right in with our collection of Dubai perfumes in brown bottles, the section featuring chocolate, caramel, and mahogany treats.

The fourth model in the family proudly displays its signature color: a caramel-colored, somewhere between cognac and cinnamon, satiny and matte, engraved with the raised herringbone pattern from the collection and accented with a thin gold trim under its wide, matching hood.
Visit gold diamond-shaped plaque The words “KAYAAN BRUN” written in Arabic calligraphy, in a tone-on-tone design like the discreet sign of a hidden bar. In the collection’s color palette—which ranges from turquoise to coral to white—it is the only one to evoke the hues of evening: the very color of its mahogany counter and its spices.

Performance & sensations
Its distributors are promoting an experience long-lasting, addictive, and sophisticated, and the base notes bring together the key ingredients: praline, tonka bean, almond, guaiac wood, and musk are among the most reliable fixatives in oriental perfumery. The spicy opening bursts forth in the first hour, the vanilla-elemi accord softens the heart of the evening, and then the guaiac-praline accord lingers close to the skin and shirt collars—those scents that still tell the story of the previous night in the early morning.
This is the season for hidden bars: intimate evenings, candlelit dinners, and fall-winter get-togethers, with a genuine touch of spring in the crisp air. Two sprays are enough to open the secret door; the third is for those evenings when you stay at the bar until closing time.
Armaf Kayaan Brun FAQ
What does Armaf's Kayaan Brun perfume smell like?
Kayaan Brun evokes the atmosphere of a hidden bar on a special night: a vibrant opening of bergamot, cinnamon, cardamom, and orange blossom, a velvety heart of creamy vanilla illuminated by the lemony resin of elemi, followed by a base of praline, almond, and tonka bean on smoky guaiac wood and musk. The result: a sophisticated, spicy, and mysterious gourmand-oriental fragrance.
Why is the perfume called "Brun"?
Because brown is literally its essence: cinnamon, praline, toasted almond, guaiac wood—all the warm hues of a mahogany countertop brought together in a single fragrance, right down to the bottle’s fawn-colored finish. It also captures the essence of the color: warm, understated, elegant—the one that fans of the collection call “the mysterious one.”.
What is elemi in perfumery?
Elemi is a luminous resin harvested from a tree in the Philippines, with a paradoxical scent: fresh like peppery lemon zest, with a base note of light incense. It is a resin that illuminates rather than darkens. In Kayaan Brun, it acts like the golden wall sconces of a speakeasy: blended with vanilla, it keeps the heart soft and muted without ever letting it become opaque.
What's the difference between Kayaan Brun and Kayaan Caramel?
These are the two warm, indulgent fragrances in the collection, but they’re two different looks: Caramel is the cozy, minimalist scent—five distinct notes of sweetness, like a Sunday blanket; Brun is the evening suit—eleven ingredients, with spices up front and smoky guaiac wood in the base, more sophisticated, more mysterious. The first is comforting; the second is intriguing: many people keep both—one for day and one for night.
Is Kayaan Brun suitable for women?
Pleinement: Despite its somber name, it’s a confidently unisex fragrance, and its composition proves it—orange blossom and creamy vanilla appeal to fans of oriental scents, while cinnamon and guaiac wood appeal to men who enjoy a night out. As always in Dubai’s perfume world, it’s the time of day that matters, not gender: at the hidden bar, everyone gets in with the right password.
