Lord of Flames Pink Bite
Unisex Fruity-Aromatic Eau de Parfum · rosemary, bergamot, blackcurrant, vodka, raspberry, basil, patchouli, amber, frankincense, and musk
"The Pink Bite" from the Lord of Flames collection: a herbal spark of rosemary and blackcurrant, a vodka-raspberry-basil cocktail served on the rocks, and a powdery trail of patchouli, amber, frankincense, and musk.
The Playful Bite: Frosted Blackcurrant, Raspberry-Vodka Cocktail, and Sensual Powder
From the Lord of Flames collection by the Emirati fashion house Volaré, each piece explores a different temperature of the flame—and “Pink Bite” is its mischievous spark, the one that stings before it caresses. The opening surprises with its herbal freshness: a rosemary an invigorating aroma, a bergamot sparkling and a blackcurrant Tart, with green and fruity notes. A lively, bright opening that instantly lifts your spirits.
The heart then serves its signature cocktail: a vodka pairing icy, crisp, and slightly metallic, which strikes the raspberry as refreshing as a spritz on a terrace, spiced up with a basil an aromatic note that keeps the whole scent vibrant and modern. This is the «mischief» aspect of the fragrance: fresh, playful, and incredibly easy to wear.
Then, just when you think you know the whole story, the bottom really bites: a trail dusted with patchouli, d'amber hot, from’frankincense — this luminous incense with its citrusy, resinous notes — and musk Enveloping. Soft, sensual, downright addictive: the playful opening reveals its seductive core.
Pink Bite joins its collection counterparts in our store Immortal and Shadow Kiss : Here, the “pink bite” echoes the “eternal flame” and the “shadow’s kiss.” Three “temperaments of fire” according to Volaré—to collect or alternate depending on your mood.

Performance & sensations
The company promises a tail sweet, sensual, and downright addictive, and the composition of the fragrance reflects this: patchouli, amber, olibanum, and musk are among the most reliable fixatives in perfumery, a base that carries the scent well beyond half a day. The fragrance unfolds in three distinct phases: the rosemary-bergamot-blackcurrant sparkle sizzles for the first hour, the vodka-raspberry-basil cocktail takes center stage during the middle of the day, and then the amber powder settles close to the skin until evening.
This is the most versatile of the three Lord of Flames fragrances: fresh enough for the office and spring brunches, and powdery enough for evenings out. Two or three sprays are all it takes; in the height of summer, its icy vodka-raspberry heart note even makes it a surprisingly pleasant fragrance for a heat wave.
Volare's Lord of Flames Pink Bite FAQ
What does the Lord of Flames Pink Bite perfume smell like?
Pink Bite exudes a sense of well-mannered mischief: a herbal-fruity opening of rosemary, bergamot, and blackcurrant; a cocktail-inspired heart where ice-cold vodka meets raspberry and basil; and a powdery finish of patchouli, amber, frankincense, and musk. The result: fresh, sparkling, and sensual all at once—fruity without being sweet.
What perfume is Lord of Flames Pink Bite a dupe for?
Fragrance enthusiasts will immediately recognize this as a famous pink creation from a niche Parisian house—the same one that inspired our Shadow Kiss and Immortal—crafted by an independent perfumer and recognizable by its pink bottle adorned with a serpent sparkling with crystals. Pink Bite recreates its raspberry-vodka blend and powdery finish with its own herbal sparkle: the bite, in all its freedom.
What does a vodka accord in perfume smell like?
Vodka has almost no scent: what perfumers recreate is its sensation—an icy, crisp, slightly metallic freshness that gives fruit a «served chilled» effect. In Pink Bite, this accord transforms the raspberry into a cocktail: more zesty, more sophisticated, less like candy.
What is olibanum in perfumery?
Oliban is the noble name for incense: a resin harvested from the boswellia tree, with luminous, lemony, and slightly peppery notes, highly prized by Eastern perfumers. In Pink Bite, it lightens the powdery base and prevents the amber-musk duo from becoming too cosmetic: it is what maintains the elegant trail.
Is Pink Bite a women's perfume?
Despite its raspberry-pink bottle, Pink Bite is a unisex fragrance, and its composition proves it: rosemary, basil, and a vodka accord lend it a fresh, aromatic unisex quality, while the base notes of patchouli, frankincense, and musk provide a foundation that many men love. Here, pink is an attitude, not a label.
