Riwayah: The Only One
A fruity, floral, gourmand perfume extract for women · bergamot, passion fruit, peach, jasmine, May rose, caramel, patchouli, Madagascar ambergris, and cashmere musk
The only fragrance in the Riwayah collection created by a woman: juicy exotic fruits, a heart of caramelized flowers, and a base of precious notes that linger on the skin.
The One and Only: a feminine, indulgent fruity fragrance with precious ingredients
The name says it all: in Fariis’s Riwayah collection, where each fragrance tells a story, *The Only One* is the only album by a female artist, and he embraces that status with panache. The opening is a sunny medley: the passion fruit exotic and tangy, the fishing creamy and juicy, enhanced by a bergamot Sparkling. A full-bodied, vibrant, and instantly captivating opening that sets the tone: radiant, confident, and striking.
The heart then unfurls a wrapped bouquet: the jasmine bright and the May rose Veloutée, two of the most prominent flowers in fine perfumery, are coated with a caramel a rich, melting texture that transforms the classic floral note into a chic confection. It is this blend of flowers and caramel that gives *The Only One* its gourmand allure, in the spirit of the grand floral-gourmand fragrances that dominate women’s perfumery today.
The background finally reveals the true luxury of the composition: a ambergris from Madagascar salty and sensual, a Kashmir musk soft as a second skin, a patchouli which is structured by its chypre depth, and a reprise of caramel which prolongs the indulgence right into the final hours. This double-caramel base, featuring ingredients rarely found at this price point, explains the fragrance’s remarkable staying power: in the extract, the highest concentration in perfumery, it lasts from morning to night.

Main chords
Performance & sensations
With its caramel notes in both the heart and base notes, its musks, and its size perfume extract, Riwayah The Only One is built to last: an exotic fruity radiance dominates the first hour—the most striking phase—then caramelized floral notes take over for a long time, before ambergris and cashmere musk settle into that second-skin trail that lingers until the next day. On clothing and hair, the caramel-musk duo lingers even longer.
This is a fragrance that works well all year round: sunny and fruity on warm days, enveloping and rich as the first chill sets in. Its generous sillage calls for moderation: two sprays are enough indoors, and it is precisely this amount that transforms it from a noticeable fragrance into an unforgettable one.
FAQ: "Riwayah: The Only One" by Fariis
Why is Fariis's "Riwayah The Only One" called that?
Because it is the only fragrance exclusively for women in Fariis’s Riwayah collection, whose other fragrances—Amalfi, Lunara, Harrison, and Azuro—are all unisex. The Only One embraces its status as the one and only with a scent profile designed just for her: sun-kissed fruits, caramelized flowers, and a sensual musky base.
Is Riwayah The Only One very sweet?
It’s unapologetically indulgent, with caramel present in both the heart and base notes, but it avoids becoming cloying thanks to three balancing elements: the tartness of passion fruit and bergamot at the top, the jasmine-rose bouquet that lightens the heart, and the patchouli that gives structure to the base. Riwayah The Only One is sweet like a chic confection, not like syrup.
What are Madagascar ambergris and Riwayah The Only One cashmere musk?
These are two of the most prized base notes in perfumery: the ambergris accord brings a salty sensuality, almost like skin warmed by the sun, while cashmere musk envelops you in a cottony softness, like a second skin. Together, they give Riwayah The Only One its intimate and lingering trail—the one you notice long after the person has left.
What is the difference between Riwayah The Only One and Riwayah Azuro by Fariis?
Both share a rich, fruity character and an extract-based concentration, but The Only One is exclusively feminine, floral, and sensual, with its exotic fruits, May rose, and precious musks, while Azuro is a more playful unisex fragrance, centered on raspberry and a lavender-caramel accord. The Only One for unapologetic seduction; Azuro for energy to share.
